Lucid reports Q2 net loss of $790 million; Saudi fund pledges additional $1.5 billion to EV startup

Lucid Motors reported a second-quarter net loss of $790 million despite record sales for its Air sedan in the April-June period. The loss was 3.4 percent higher than in the same quarter last year, Lucid said Aug. 5.
