PSA Group's Peugeot, Citroen and Opel brands each increased April sales in Turkey by more than 90 percent in a market that was down by 15 percent.
A combined seven models from the French and German brands made the country's list of top 25 sellers, led the No. 3-ranked Peugeot 3008 and the Peugeot 2008 at fourth for the month, according to data from market researcher JATO Dynamics.
Citroen increased sales 283 percent last month, helped by strong demand for the C5 Aircross SUV, which ranked 8th on the country's list of top 25 sellers.
Peugeot's sales rose 133 percent and Opel's volume grew 94 percent because of brisk sales of the Opel Corsa, Astra and Grandland X.

Mercedes-Benz boosted sales 68 percent in April with help from the A-Class and C-Class.
Ford grew 21 percent in April because of demand for the Transit and Tourneo light vans.
While Turkey's April total was in negative territory, its four-month sales were up 26 percent to 150,688.
The Fiat Egea was market's best-seller in April (2,075) and after four months, with a volume of 12,576. The Renault Clio was No. 2 for the month (1,985) and after four months (9,302).
