BMW deal wind down leads to 1,800 job cuts at Dutch car builder

AMSTERDAM -- Dutch contract car manufacturer VDL Nedcar will cut 1,800 jobs this year as it struggles to replace its canceled production deal with BMW, owner VDL Group said.
