MILAN -- Alfa Romeo’s first full-electric model, the Milano small SUV, will offer up to 237 hp in the highest-performance versions.

The Milano, which is based on the Stellantis e-CMP2 platform, will also have a 48-volt mild hybrid version with available four-wheel drive. Orders for a “Speciale” edition of the Milano, with either powertrain, opened Wednesday.

Electric versions of the Milano will have two power levels: A base model with 154 hp and a performance Veloce variant with 237 hp. The Veloce features a self-locking differential, a wider track, special front and rear anti-roll bars, 20-inch wheels, a 25 mm lower ride height, tuned suspension and more powerful brakes.

The Milano EV's range is up to 410 km (255 miles) on the WLTP mixed cycle from a 54-kilowatt-hour battery. Charging time from 10 to 80 percent is less than 30 minutes at a 100-kilowatt DC station, Alfa Romeo said.
