Why 4D radar can help meet tougher European safety standards

The European New Car Assessment Program (EuroNCAP), which assigns stars based on safety features, will introduce its most stringent safety protocols ever in 2023.

Starting then, EuroNCAP’s child occupant protection category will include child presence detection, which will earn a vehicle up to four safety points.

Three additional safety points are on offer under the safety assist protocol, provided by a combination of seat belt reminders and occupant status monitoring.
