Honda forecasts tariffs will hit profits hard, postpones Canada EV investment

TOKYO — Honda forecasts operating profit will drop nearly 60 per cent in the current fiscal year after being broadsided by U.S. tariffs. The automaker will also suspend large-scale investments in electric vehicle production infrastructure in Canada because of the uncertainty in the outlook.
