Continental renames its automotive unit Aumovio ahead of spinoff

Continental will spin off its automotive unit in September, pending shareholder approval. “As an independent company, we gain significantly more creative power and speed,” said Philipp von Hirschheydt, CEO of the automotive unit. (BLOOMBERG)

Continental said its automotive unit will be known as Aumovio after the German tire maker spins off the business this year.
