Former Nissan and Hyundai executive Allan Rushforth will join automotive data company Marque Group as managing director for Europe.
Rushforth’s automotive career includes stints at Rover Group, BMW Group, Jaguar Land Rover, Audi and UK dealer group Lookers.
He was vice president for global sales at Nissan in Japan until 2017. He joined Nissan from Hyundai Europe, where he was chief operating officer from 2007 to 2014.
In his new post at the Marque Group, Rushforth will help the company expand its presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa from its base in Cologne, Germany.
The company’s data services include software and other tools for marketing and customer contact, research for automakers, and lead management platforms.
Future growth plans are based on combining technologies into modular business tools, the company said in a news release announcing Rushforth’s appointment.
The privately held Marque Group is based in Sydney, Australia. Its clients include automakers such as BMW, Citroen, Fiat and Subaru.
